Are you feeling disconnected, a little lost, overwhelmed?

I know I sure have been. There's so much going on around us that is looking to pull our energy and our positive momentum down. It's hard not to want to just jump under the covers and hope things are better when I wake up. 

I can't control the chaos going on around us, nor can I always control every aspect even of my own life. I have responsibilities that cannot be ignored and most importantly, I have to take care of myself. There's a lot more I can't do when I'm struggling to function. 

Does any of this feel a little familiar? If it does, this feeling, this desire to make something better, and feeling a little helpless to really do much, is why I created The Journey to Your Creative Self. 

It started as a Portal Painting I attended, going through two weeks of healing, intuitive deep painting work to release some of the things holding me back, and allowing me to build layers in my painting to create a new sense of peace and belonging for myself and for the loving, supportive and creative community I am building.

Now I've taken that process and changed it a little for our purposes. 

Each day we will spend some time on a new focus, learning a new technique that will help us release the negative energy in our lives, and breathe in positive energy through art. 

I will be painting with acrylic paint and paint pens on a canvas, and will continue to layer my painting each day. I welcome you to choose materials and a path through this week that works for you.
