Welcome. I am an artist, educator, and co-founder of Czech Studios. My work is rooted in a simple conviction: creativity is an essential human practice for presence, connection, and wellbeing.

For many people, the creative process is weighed down by intimidation—fear of judgment, fear of the blank page, or the pressure to produce a flawless final product. I design sensory-rich, low-pressure workshops and handcrafted art materials that break through that friction, guiding individuals and teams into the grounding, restorative power of hands-on making.

Intentional Pedagogy Meets Material Craft

Great workshops don’t happen by accident. My facilitation style is grounded in formal instructional design and over a decade of experience in education. Holding a Master of Education in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I bring structured pedagogical scaffolding to every session.

Where open-ended art sessions can feel aimless or intimidating to non-artists, my workshops are carefully paced to ensure psychological safety, gentle structure, and tactile engagement. Whether we are exploring color relationships, testing artisanal pigments, or working through collaborative exercises, participants are given the tools and permission to experiment without fear of failure.

Artisanal Pigment Formulation: Hand-crafting small-batch watercolor paints using cosmetic-grade pigments, safe for skin and natural binders.

Applied Color Theory: Utilizing subtractive color principles (CMYK) to demystify paint mixing and help makers build confident palettes.

Miniature & Accessible Arts: Championing Artist Trading Cards (ATCs)—miniature 2.5 x 3.5 inch artworks that lower the barrier to creative exchange across global communities.

Textile & Mixed Media: Exploring process-driven craft through bookbinding, pattern drafting, and fluid media.
