Each color is hand-mulled in-house using a unique, artisanal binder made from distilled water, food-grade gum arabic, locally sourced honey, and clove oil. This dedication to transparency means you know exactly what you're painting with. The pigments themselves are cosmetic-grade synthetic powder—giving them that saturated, vibrant color—and are non-toxic, offering both brilliant color and peace of mind.
 
This set of seven colors was thoughtfully selected to be a versatile and powerful palette. It's a fantastic teaching tool, chosen for its ability to produce a wide spectrum of colors when mixed, which is why I use it to teach about color mixing. I've even included a color study image in the gallery to help you see the vibrant range you can create with these essential hues.
 
Please remember to store them in a cool, dry place, as the honey in the binder can attract bugs. We recommend a test patch before using the paints on skin. Paints should not be used around sensitive areas.
 
Please note that the Basic Royal Blue color included does not currently glow under UV light and was specially selected with our current pigment options in order to create a full vibrant range of colors.
